As part of the Routemaster Film Challenge in 2005 i decided to contribute a short film. i had no clue what to do, had no story, just the subject - the Routemaster Bus on it's penultimate final two days of service on the Route 159. i knew i wanted to capture the textures and the sounds of the bus, - that was pretty much it - but how liberating! no stories, no characters, no plot, just me and a borrowed dv camera. For the first time in years i actually shot my own material and it was great. When it came to edit the footage i just said to myself 'play around, have fun' and i did.
